PAPLUNO / CUSTOM PAPER TABLEWARE

Samples & Approvals

Understand the references to discuss, the details to review and the information to confirm before approving a custom paper tableware order.

START WITH THE PURPOSE

Which Reference Do You Need?

Discuss which references can be provided for your project. Availability, costs and delivery require confirmation.

Digital Artwork Proof

Use a proof to review wording, layout, orientation and placement on the agreed template. It does not by itself confirm material, final print colour or product performance.

Material & Format Reference

Discuss whether an existing physical reference can help review size, structure, texture and handling. Confirm how closely it represents the product being quoted.

Printed Product Reference

Ask whether a printed reference can be provided for the proposed specification. Agree its purpose, cost, delivery and any differences from the final production item.

PREPARE YOUR REQUEST

A Sample Needs a Clear Brief.

Identify the product, preferred format, artwork status and the questions you want the reference to answer. A visual review, material review and intended-use assessment may require different references.

Confirm the sample type, its relationship to the proposed production specification, costs and delivery arrangements before proceeding. An illustrative website image is not an approval sample.

REVIEW BEFORE APPROVAL

Keep the Details Together.

Use the agreed specification and reference to record what has been accepted.

Product identity

Record the category, format, dimensions and material specification being reviewed.

Artwork version

Keep the approved file name, template and placement reference together.

Colour & appearance

Agree the relevant physical reference and record any accepted differences.

Intended use

Identify the actual use conditions and any product information required for them.

Packing & labels

Confirm counts, presentation, labels and carton requirements where relevant.

Approval record

Record the approval owner, date, scope and any revisions still required.

NEXT STEP

Connect the Approval to the Order.

Record revisions before approval and confirm whether a new proof or sample is needed. The order should identify the accepted product specification, artwork and reference. Production timing, inspection, packing and delivery remain separate terms to agree.
